Foot Detox: How To Flush Chemicals From Your Body Through Your Feet!

Every day people subject their wallets and their taste buds to  cringe worthy “detox drinks”,  which often times have little to no actual effect on their overall health.  I know you may be thinking that it’s worth a shot if it can potentially lead to remarkable positive health changes but what if I told you that there exists a cost effective method that does not induce gagging?

Foot Detox Pads
Foot detoxes are said to expel toxins in your body through the over 2,000 pores in your feet.  Even better, they can do so in a very passive manner while you are sleeping.  This is done by simply applying adhesive pads to your feet before you retire to bed and then removing them when you awake.  The results can be visually staggering as often times the removed pads show significant soiling, even if the feet they were applied to were freshly washed.
Foot detox pads are typically compiled of bamboo and an array of different tree extracts, so you don’t have to worry about any sketchy, potentially harmful chemicals.  The pads can often be found at health stores and online retailers.
Frequent users of foot detox pads commonly report feeling substantially less headaches, joint pain and fatigue.
Ionic Foot Baths
Ionic foot baths utilize an electrical process which creates negative and positive ions in saltwater.  The process allows you to relax and focus on your breathing while the alternating polarities help to draw toxins out of your body and through your feet.  The necessary materials are cheap and easily acquired and can be done from the comfort of your home.
Below I have listed a recipe and directions to create your very own ionic foot bath.
Items Needed:
  • Bentonite Clay
  • Epsom Salts
  • Organic apple cider vinegar
  • A tub to soak your feet
  • Hot water
  • Add ½ a cup of Epsom salt in the water.
  • While you are waiting for the water to cool down, make a mixture of 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay and 1 tablespoon of ACV. If you want to thin it, you can add some water.
  • Cover your feet with the mixture and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • See if the water has cooled down and then put your feet inside and soak them for 15 minutes at the minimum.
