  • Cabbage (preferably organic red)
  • Aluminum foil
  • A bandage or gauze

Roll a rolling pin over the leaf to release its juice.  Then, wrap it in a foil, put it in the oven for several minutes to warm it up, and then apply it on the affected area.

Secure it with a bandage or gauze.

After an hour, remove it. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times daily.

The cabbage can be kept in the refrigerator to keep it extra cold, which gives an added level of soothing to the compress.
